In one hour, know how to protect your family and your assets, who would handle your money, and how to leave a legacy so your family can thrive.
60 minutes to get a simple roadmap β so you can protect your family, your assets, and your wishes with clarity and confidence.
20 seats so I can answer every question.
When I was 13, my mom was in a serious accident. She couldn't speak for herself the way she needed to, and she had no healthcare directive. My father didn't know what she would have wanted, and didn't know what decision to make, and it cost my family dearly.
I've spent my career since then in rooms where families were in crisis: 10 years as a litigator and 13 as a family conflict mediator. The families with a plan had tough days. The families without one had really rough years.
This workshop is the hour I wish my parents had taken.
The smartest, most organized parents I know still put this off. In California, a family with no plan can spend a year or more in probate court, paying fees that the law sets based on the size of the estate. On a $1 million estate, the attorney's fee alone is $23,000, and the executor can take the same amount on top of that. If you have minor children, a judge may decide who raises them.
In plain English, with plenty of time for your questions.
I walk every family through three steps:
β Get Clear on What Matters. Who depends on you, what you own, and who you'd trust to step in. We start what's important. Documents come later.
βMake the Decisions While You Can. Who raises your kids. Who manages money for them, and at what age they get it. Who makes medical calls if you can't. If you don't decide, a judge and California's default rules decide for you.
βKeep It Working. Life changes, and your plan should change with it. My clients don't sign and disappear. We help you fund it and review your plan as your family grows, so it works on the day someone actually needs it.
How many meetings it takes, how long it takes, and what it costs.
Here's the whole path, from first meeting to signed plan.
βCome to the workshop. Learn what your family needs and ask your questions. No homework, no commitment.
β Book a Life & Legacy Planning Session. We look at your whole family together, and you'll know the fee before you commit to anything.
βWe build your plan. I draft everything, then walk you through it in plain English and change whatever doesn't fit.
βSign, and make sure it works. We sign together, then make sure your home and accounts are actually in your trust.
βKeep it current. As your family changes, we update your plan. You're never starting over.
This workshop is for parents who want their kids protected and want it done without pressure. You'll leave knowing:
where your family is protected today
where the gaps are
whether a will or a trust fits your life
your next step, and how long it really takes
You've built a life worth protecting. You just haven't had an hour to sit down and do it.
You've thought
Estate planning keeps sliding to next month because it feels big and a little morbid. Once someone walks you through it, it's a lot smaller than you think.
You want
~ to spare your family the court process and the guesswork
~ a plan built for your actual family instead of a template
~ an attorney who talks to you like a person
~ a process with a clear start and a clear finish
Come to the live session and you'll get extra help putting what you learn to work.
Even if you never hire me, you'll finally understand where you stand.

If we haven't metβ¦
I'm the lawyer people call when everything feels like it's about to fall apart. Divorce, death, dementia. I don't just guide families through life's hardest transitions, I've lived through them. I'm a mom, a former Big Law litigator, and a mediator, so I know how to help families have the tough conversations.
I built Truce Resolutions around one idea: facing the hard stuff and having a plan that covers all of life's challenges keeps families stronger.
Based in Solvang, I work with families across California.
